Refund Policy – Cityline Cabs Rental Services

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

At Cityline Cabs Rental Services, we strive to provide reliable, transparent, and customer-focused car rental services across Bangalore. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are processed for bookings made through our website, mobile application, or customer support team.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a booking confirmation via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

2. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

More Than 24 Hours Before Pickup

• Customers cancelling at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
• Applicable payment gateway or transaction processing charges may be deducted.

Within 24 Hours of Pickup

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may incur cancellation charges.
• The remaining eligible balance will be refunded.

After Trip Commencement

• No refund will be provided once the rental period has started.
• Unused rental hours, unused days, or early vehicle returns are non-refundable.

3. Driver No-Show

If our assigned driver fails to report without providing an alternative arrangement, customers may receive:

• A full refund, or
• An alternative vehicle at no additional cost (subject to availability).

4. Customer No-Show

A booking will be treated as a No-Show if:

• The customer is unavailable at the pickup location.
• The customer cannot be contacted using the registered contact details.
• The customer fails to arrive within the agreed waiting period.

In such cases, the booking amount may be non-refundable.

5. Vehicle Availability

In rare situations where the booked vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Cityline Cabs Rental Services will:

• Provide a similar or upgraded vehicle whenever possible, or
• Issue a full refund if an alternative vehicle cannot be arranged.

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

• UPI Payments: 2–5 Business Days
• Debit / Credit Cards: 5–10 Business Days
• Net Banking: 5–10 Business Days

Processing timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment service provider.

7. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are generally non-refundable:

• Payment gateway or transaction processing fees (where applicable)
• Toll charges already incurred
• Parking fees
• Government taxes already remitted
• Additional services already utilized
• Damage charges or penalties arising from violation of the rental agreement

8. Refunds for Online Payments

If payment is successfully debited but the booking is not confirmed due to a technical issue, the amount will be refunded after verification.

9. Force Majeure

Cityline Cabs Rental Services shall not be responsible for cancellations or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Floods
• Heavy rainfall
• Government restrictions
• Strikes
• Civil disturbances
• Road closures
• Vehicle breakdowns beyond reasonable control

Refunds in these situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our customer support with the following details:

• Booking ID
• Customer Name
• Registered Mobile Number
• Reason for cancellation or refund request

Our support team will review your request and provide an update as soon as possible.

11. Policy Changes

Cityline Cabs Rental Services reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and become effective immediately upon posting.
